Release: Oso 0.11.0-alpha now supports Go!

The initial release of the go-oso library is here! We're releasing the first version of the library as an alpha – to get started, download it here and try out the quickstart. If you're using the Go library, we'd love to hear from you – join us on Slack.

You may have noticed our new docs site, which has become the default at docs.osohq.com. We redesigned the docs to help you get as quickly as possible to the problems that matter to you. For instance, you now get an experience that's tailored to your preferred language. The old docs are still available here for a limited time if there's something you're having a hard time finding. We'll continue to add more tailored material and improvements in the coming weeks. Tell us what questions you want the docs to answer better, and we'll prioritize it.

We're also releasing new versions of our Python framework integrations today:

  • sqlalchemy-oso 0.4.1: The SQLAlchemy roles functionality now supports resource models with primary key fields other than id.
  • django-oso 0.7.0-beta: django-oso 0.7.0-alpha has been promoted to a beta release.  0.7.0-beta supports Django 2.2 again. Thanks to our alpha testers for bringing this to our attention!
  • sqlalchemy-oso 0.5.0-beta: The expanded list filtering support from sqlalchemy-oso 0.5.0-alpha has been promoted to a beta.

For more details, read the changelog.

If you ever have questions, we're available to talk to you about how to get from one version to the next, or to discuss anything you'd like about the product, your use case, or authorization more generally – join us on Slack or open an issue.
